As the largest automotive aftermarket exhibition in the Middle East and Africa, Automechanika Dubai 2025 attracted many global industry leaders, covering an exhibition area of 83,000 square meters. During the exhibition, 2,228 exhibitors congregated with 65,000 professional attendees from over 150 countries.
II. Highlights of the Automechanika Dubai 2025 Exhibition
As a leading tire manufacturer in China, Forlander showcased a complete product line, attracting a large number of international clients with its notable price advantages and high-quality products. We specifically presented two highly popular truck tires in the Middle Eastern market: the FR818 and FR969.
1. Forlander FR818 All Position Truck Tire
The FR818 all-position truck tire is optimized for highway use, featuring a variable pitch tread design that significantly reduces road noise.
Its robust steel belt ensures high driving comfort and safety. Manufactured with a super high wear-resistant formula and a wide contact patch, it guarantees excellent durability and even wear. Furthermore, the enhanced casing and bead design provide remarkable longevity and load capacity.
2. Forlander FR969 Steer Truck Tire
The FR969 315 80R 22.5 tires are designed for long-haul highway services and drive axles, offering superior retread ability.
Its crown is made using a banded steel wire endless belt manufacturing process, ensuring safety during operation. The tread is composed of new, enhanced materials that improve wear resistance. The wide tread design effectively prevents deformation, making the tire more durable.
Additionally, Forlander also showcased OTR (Off-the-Road) and PCR (Passenger Car) product lines, further enriching our portfolio to meet diverse market and customer needs. During the Tire Expo, Forlander Tire’s booth was bustling with activity. Numerous professional buyers and distributors from regions including the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia stopped by to inquire about our tire products’ characteristics and technical specifications.
III. The Middle East Tire Market Insights
This exhibition provided a precise analysis of demand in the Middle Eastern market, highlighting the region’s unique needs for tire products. For instance, Saudi Arabia stands as the largest market with a consumption volume of 16 million units, followed by the UAE, collectively accounting for 86% of the import market. Notably, while Qatar’s tire market is relatively smaller, its potential is significant.
There is also a rapidly growing demand for specialized engineering tires, particularly in Saudi Arabia’s infrastructure projects and the upcoming World Cup-related developments, where sales of such products during the exhibition accounted for 28%. During the event, Forlander Tire established cooperation intentions with several international clients, solidifying our strategic positioning in the Middle Eastern market.
